Vishal Pai Cacode Demands Removal of Margao Ravindra Bhavan Chairman Over Remarks on Cinematographer K. Vaikunth

Former State Cultural Development Committee member Vishal Pai Cacode has demanded the immediate removal of Margao Ravindra Bhavan Chairman Rajendra Talak, alleging that his remarks against renowned cinematographer K. Vaikunth were disrespectful and unacceptable.

In a statement, Cacode said that by making what he described as “baseless aspersions” on the integrity and commitment of K. Vaikunth, Talak had insulted one of Goa’s most distinguished sons and a respected figure in the field of cinematography.

Calling the remarks inappropriate, Cacode urged the Art and Culture Minister to take immediate action by removing Talak from the post of Chairman of Margao Ravindra Bhavan.

The demand comes amid growing reactions over the controversy, with Cacode asserting that individuals holding public positions in cultural institutions should uphold the dignity and contributions of eminent personalities associated with Goa’s artistic and cultural heritage.
