VALPOI: Stating that various developmental works have been initiated by the Government in Sattari taluka, Health Minister and Valpoi MLA Vishwajit Rane
on Thursday assured that the Alvara issue will be resolved soon.
Addressing a press conference in Valpoi on Thursday, he said, “I have discussed the Alvara matter with my party members, who have assured me to resolve the issue. I also met Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte and asked him to reduce the tax rate per sq mt which is now Rs 5. I also requested the minister to appoint a special advocate and a translator by the Government to look into Alvara cases in Sattari taluka free of cost “.
Rane said, “The operation theatre at Community Health Centre Valpoi will be made operational soon along with the Emergency Care Centre, which will function round-the-clock.”
On the new projects in Sattari, Rane said, “The state-of-the-art Inox multiplex will be commissioned on December 19 in Valpoi Municipal Council building, the work of laying of ariel bunch cables to solve the electricity problems in all panchayats in Sattari and phase 2 of Valpoi beautification will start soon.”
