CURCHOREM: Twenty-three-year-old Tony Nagar-Sanvordem resident Shailender Shanker Khorjuenkar died of cardiac arrest at Curchorem Up-Graded Primary Health Centre on Thursday.
According to Curchorem police, Khorjuenkar visited the accident site following an accident wherein the car driven by his father was damaged after colliding with pick-up while proceeding to the main road from Tony Nagar internal road.
“Though the car was damaged, the driver (father) escaped unhurt. Later we learnt that Khorjuenkar was taken to Curchorem Up-Graded Primary Health Centre by his friend as he complained of chest pain after witnessing the accident scene and breathed his last at the health centre,” police informed.
Dr Darshana Naik informed that they admitted him immediately and referred for ECG and found Severe Acute MI in the report. “Before we could do anything more he died of cardiac arrest,” Dr Naik said.
