The citizens have expressed their strong views against the functioning of the government offices and officials, the issue of illegal constructions all over South Goa and other issues. The citizens have expressed strong protest against the delay of the government of Goa to finalise the Regional Plan.
Laurel Abranches, Convenor of Fatorda Youth Association while criticising the municipality said that 5 politicians are running the municipality. He has taken strong objection on the infighting of the chairperson and the chief officer of Margao Municipality. Laurel said that lots of governmental works of people are held up due to the infighting.
Judith Almeida of the Colva Civic and Consumer Forum took strong objection on the delay by the government in bringing the Regional Plan in force. Judith pointed that there is no difference in the previous Congress government and the present BJP government. The organisation has resolved to object, oppose and criticise the faulty governance of Goa government.
