PANJIM: Claiming that Goa’s electoral politics is now limited only to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), AAP’s national spokesperson Raghav Chadha on Tuesday mocked at Congress stating ‘voting for Congress tantamount to wasting one’s vote’.
Chadha who is in Goa launched party’s statewide movement ‘Jobs for All Goans’, wherein he appealed citizens to give an opportunity to Arvind Kejriwal led party to fulfill aspirations of every Goan.

Addressing media persons, Chadha said that the Congress has become irrelevant in the politics of Goa and voting for them tantamounts to wasting one’s vote.
“The electoral politics in Goa is now limited to only BJP versus AAP. Congress is reduced to piecemeal. Forget about winning and forming government in the coming election, Congress won’t even see one MLA. Voting for Congress is like wasting your vote,” he commented.
When asked to comment on party plans for any alliance with the regional parties like MGP, Chadha refused saying “We will have a long chat on this some other day.”
Earlier, the Delhi MLA launched “Jobs for All Goans”, a statewide campaign, wherein he appealed citizens to register themselves on www.jobsforallgoans.in and support the movement. “AAP believes, and I say this with sense of responsibility that dignified employment opportunity is right of every Goan,” he said.
Chadha said that unemployment is the biggest issue in Goa, the State which has the third highest unemployment rate of 21.1 per cent in the country.
Slamming the successive Congress and BJP government for failing to create employment opportunities for the youths, Chadha accused the incumbent government of giving away jobs to the kin and kith of ministers and MLAs.
“It is very unfortunate that government failed to create jobs in private sector and to provide government jobs. Only relatives of ministers and MLAs got the jobs. Ordinary people…educated people failed to get any jobs,” he charged.
He said that neither government is creating jobs nor it is giving industries an environment to create employment opportunities. He claimed that no new industries are willing to invest in Goa as the business atmosphere here has turned from bad to worst.
