The situation escalated quickly as the coach responded sharply, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere in the room. The media coordinator had to intervene to calm things down and ensure the interaction remained professional. The incident underlined the mounting pressure within the camp as the league stage nears its conclusion.

Playoff race heats up for United

Captained by Shadab Khan, Islamabad United find themselves in a tricky position despite being among the most successful teams in PSL history. With four wins from eight matches, they currently occupy third place but are far from secure.

The side now faces must-win encounters against Hyderabad Kingsmen and Multan Sultans in their remaining fixtures. These matches will play a decisive role in determining whether they can progress to the playoffs.

Rizwan anchors Pindiz win

Earlier in the game, Islamabad United struggled to build momentum with the bat and were restricted to a modest total of 137. Rawalpindi Pindiz bowlers delivered a disciplined performance, picking up wickets at regular intervals.
