Water Resources Minister Subhash Phal Dessai has appealed to people across Goa to use water judiciously and avoid unnecessary wastage, stressing that water conservation is a shared responsibility.
The minister urged households, educational institutions, commercial establishments and businesses to adopt responsible water-use practices to ensure the continued availability of drinking water and other essential water resources. He emphasized that every citizen has an important role in safeguarding the state’s water resources through sustainable consumption habits.
With growing concerns over changing rainfall patterns and effective water management, the minister called on the public to actively support conservation initiatives and spread awareness about the importance of saving water.
He further highlighted that collective efforts today will help secure adequate water resources for future generations and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the state’s water supply.
