Team HeraldPANJIM: Former chief minister Digambar Kamat has accused the ruling coalition of playing a political game with the ‘JICA Watergate’ scam probe by attempting to ‘silence’ him in the ongoing Assembly session.
Categorically denying his role in any crime, including bribery, Kamat, in his anticipatory bail plea filed before the District & Sessions Court also said the possible move to arrest him in the non-bailable offence, was basically, to stop him from destabilizing or exposing the government on the floor of the House.
