Police have registered a case against Roopashree C for allegedly befriending a Gujarat-based businessman at a city hotel, intoxicating him, and fleeing with valuables, officials said.
According to the complaint, the accused gained the victim’s trust before allegedly spiking his drink, rendering him unconscious. She then decamped with gold ornaments and ₹2.4 lakh in cash.
