PANJIM: Twenty five participants successfully completed the three-day residential clinic for preliminary and intermediate badminton coaches, organised by Goa Badminton Association (GBA) in collaboration with SAG, at Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda, recently.
SAG Coaches Roy Ataide and Vinayak Kamat demonstrated fundamental, physical, technical and tactical elements of badminton, fitness and diet modules over theory and practical sessions.
Nilesh Parab, Riddesh Madgaonkar and Preston Jacques were awarded best young participant prizes.
The certification course was hosted by Margao Shuttlers Club (MSC). Vaman Fallary, Ritupurna Kulkari, Manoj Dukle, Sandeep Heble and coaches Roy Ataide and Vinayak Kamat graced the closing function.
