Wilson Cruz will fight it out with Anurag Mhamal and Pranav Zantye will vie with Suhas Asnodkar in the 6th round of the Bambolim Open Chess tournament organised by Bambolim Chess Club on January 26, at 10 am.
There was a record number of 24 rated players among the 104 entries.
In the third round upset, young and upcoming Rohan Ahuja (Elo 1721) defeated veteran player PP Insulkar (1923). In the 5th round, unrated Alfredo Menezes wrested a full point from Sanjay Kavlekar (1873).
