CHINCHINIM: Bardez Veterans defeated Temptations Veterans, Miramar 3-2 to enter the quarter-finals of the Pickup Drivers Veterans football tournament, played atOur Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim, on Sunday.
Bruno Coutinho scored two quick goals for Bardez in the 19th and 20th minutes while Shailesh Miskin scored the third for the winners. Temptations pulled two goals back through Pascoal Pereira and Alex Alvares in the 48th and 50th minute.
