MARGAO: Betalbatim Sporting Club trounced Youth Strikers, Benaulim 8-0 in a GFA U-14 League at SAG Sports Complex, Fatorda on Tuesday. Betalbatim Sporting Club led 4-0 at half time.
Betalbatim Sporting Club virtually destroyed the opposition defenses and scored the goals at regular intervals with Princeston Rebello and Jolliton Fernandes scoring a brace each. Young Strikers were struggled throughout the match and seldom troubled the rival rearguard.
Kingsley Fernandes, Lenny Fernandes, Ronaldo Mascarenhas and Flan Gomes rubbed the salt to Young Strikers wounds by scoring a piece each.
