MAPUSA (HSD) — A pleasing display from Brasil Futebol Academia saw them hammer Santo Estevam 18-0 in GFA’s U-16 League at Agasaim ground on Wednesday. Brasil were leading 11-0 at the break.
Binatone Singh and Sahil Tavora were in a goal scoring mood as they netted five goals each. Saish Kaunthankar scored a hat-trick.
Soham Shinde, Jason D’Sousa, Saish Goltekar, Shubam Shetgaonkar and Sainath also got their names on the scoresheet.
At Municipal ground, Sanquelim, Anjuna Gymkhana cruised to a 15-0 victory over FC Sanquelim. Sahil Shirodkar punted in five, while teammate Dhinraj Salgaonkar smashed home four. Satguru, Venkatesh and Parel scored a brace each.
Dunes Sports Club managed to defeat ABC Sports Club, Arambol 13-0 at Morjim ground. Dunes were leading 6-0 at the lemon break. Kedar and Avristo bagged four goals each. Pandurang and Kevin scored a brace each and Sherwin Fernandes also registered a goal. In GFA’s U-14 League, Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim overcame Jawahar Club 4-0 at Don Bosco ground, Panjim. Don Bosco led 2-0 at the breather.
