RAIA: CAC Cansaulim edged past Goa Velha 9-8 to move into the next round of 22nd Bro Eulalio Vas memorial football tournament played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, on Monday.
Goa Velha scored in the 8th minute through S Kundaikar. In the second half, Clevan Fernandes of CAC Cansaulim equalised in the 48th minute.

At the end of regulation time, both teams settled for a 1-1 draw. In the resultant tie-breaker, CAC Cansaulim scored through Elvin, Aliskey, Jude, Asher, Anish, Dexter, Melwyn and Regan, while for Goa Velha Prasil, Bravesh, Kundaikar, Sainath, Joseph, Krishab and Vikranth were on target.
