MARGAO: CAC Cansaulim beat Salcete Football Club 5-4 via the tie breaker in a thrilling encounter of the GFA U-14 League South Goa playoff match at the Dr T B Cunha-SAG ground, Cansaulim.
The teams were locked goalless at full time.
Shane Afonso, Shane Baretto, On Honawarkar, Shaniel Lucas and Judah Sanches scored for CAC Cansaulim while only Omkar Gaonkar, Clarkson Fernandes, Anish Yadav and Shawn Gomes were on target for Salcete. CAC will now await the winners of the second semi-finals to be played tomorrow between Salgaocar FC and Churchill Bros. Sports Club on Cansaulim ground.
