MAPUSA: Calangute Veterans scored a narrow 4-1 win via tie-breaker over Chinchinim Veterans to move into the semi-finals of the All Goa Veterans Soccer, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, played at Saligao ground, on Sunday.
Both the sides tried their level best to net in the all important goal, however neither of the teams proved to be successful in the task forcing the tie-breaker to be implemented where Allwyn, Fausto, Narendra and Daniel scored for Calangute Veterans, while only Alfred Fernandes scored for Chinchinim. Mario’s and Mahesh strikes was saved by keeper Dominic.
