CALANGUTE (HC) — Candolim SCl trounced Sai Avtaar, Anjuna 3-0 to move into the finals of 6th Rajasthan Marbles Trophy soccer organised by Saligao United at Dr Gustavo Monteiro stadium, Candolim on Friday.
Candolim took the lead in the 5th minute through Francisco Rebello off a Roy Das cross. Down by a goal, Anjuna tried to bounce back but were unable to find the equaliser.
After the lemon break, Candolim kept the momentum going and doubled the lead in the 10th minute through Jolith Simoes off a free kick converted by Harish Diukar. Kliebber Fernandes rounded off the tally for Candolim in the 25th minute. Candolim will lock horns with Nagoa Sporting Club in the finals on Sunday, March 28.
