Anjuna Gymkhana prevailed over Sangolda Lightning 4-2 via the tie-breaker after the teams were involved in a goalless draw to move into the quarter-finals of Calangute Panchayat Cup soccer tournament organised by Calangute Association, at Poriat ground, Calangute on Friday. There was no score at the end of the regulation period.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Vinayak Mulgaonkar, Lino Pereira, Soma Korgaonkar and Stanley Sequeira converted for Anjuna while Washington Pereira and Ranjit Naik were on target for Sangolda.
