Cobra Vaddo A defeated Madda Vaddo A 4-3 via the tie-breaker after both teams were involved in a 1-all draw and moved into the semi-finals of Calangute Panchayat Cup 2010 inter-ward football tournament organised by Calangute Association at Poriat ground, Calangute on Monday.
Cobra Vaddo shot into lead in the 6th minute through Saroj Diukar. Madda Vaddo fought back and drew level in the 16th minute through Mario Fernandes.
Ashley Lobo, Joaquim Gonsalves and Saroj Diukar scored for Cobra Vaddo while Deggie Cardozo and Brendon were on target for Madda Vaddo A.
