PANJIM: Collem defeated Khandepar, 3-0 in a U-13 boys match in the 6th Edition of the GFDC Rising Star Football Festival, played at Collem ground.
A fine brace from Farrin Gonsalves and a goal from Raj Jangali sealed the victory for Collem. While in the U-13 girls match, Collem registered an impressive 2-0 win over Khandepar. The goal scorers were Merlyn Mascarenhas and Velisha Azavedo.
At another venue Fatorda beat Shiroda, 3-0 in the U-13 boys match played at Shiroda ground. While in the U-10 match played at the same venue Shiroda registered a 2-1 win against Fatorda.
While Cuncolim thrashed Amone, 7-0 in a U-13 boys match and Cuncolim beat Amone, 6-4 in a U-10 boys match played at Cuncolim ground.
