RAIA: Cuncolim Union defeated Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club Paroda 3-2 and moved into the quarter-finals of VJT Cup football at Chinchinim Church ground, Sunday.
Paroda took the lead in the 22nd minute with Godwin Fernandes scoring. Cuncolim Union responded well in the second half and equalized in the 34th minute through Denzil Dias.

The game then turned into a roller-coaster ride, as Paroda regained the lead in the 38th minute with a goal from Lickson Rebello, only to concede an immediate equalizer through Daulat Dessai.
The decisive moment came in the 69th minute, when Wilson Fernandes netted the winner for Cuncolim Union.
Rasal Fernandes of Paroda was named man-of-the match for his impressive performance. He received a prize from Deepak Kharangate.
