CUNCOLIM: Cuncolim United Higher Secondary School, Cuncolim defeated Balaram Higher Secondary School, Ardhfond, Canacona 15 -2 to win the Zone IV Higher Secondary School Kho-Kho girls championship, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Sports Complex Borimol, Quepem.
The third place was won by Vivekananda Higher Secondary School, Balli who beat Government Higher Secondary School, Canacona 6-1.
Earlier, Cuncolim United HSS, Cuncolim defeated Vivekananda HSS, Balli 10-3 to move into the final while in the second semi-final Balaram HSS, Ardhfond-Canacona defeated Government HSS, Canacona 6-4.
The winners and runners-up will now represent Zone IV at the inter-zone to be held at Fatorda.
