PANJIM: NSC Sports Club of Curca won the tribal football tournament organized by Sunshine Sports Club of Carambolim in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa defeating Galaxy Boys of Chimbel 4-3 via tie-breaker in the finals played at village panchayat ground, Carambolim.
At full time the score was 1-1.
Chief guest Francisco Raposo, coach and PE teacher of Don Bosco High School gave away the prizes to the winners, a cash prize of Rs 25,000 along with a trophy and the runners-up Rs 15,000 and trophy.
Also present on the occasion were Sarpanch of Old Goa Village Panchayat Nilkhant Bhomkar, panch member of Carambolim Village Panchayat Wilson Valladares, Deniz Costa, chairman of Sunshine Sports Club and other dignitaries.
