BENAULIM: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated Sao Jose de Areal 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of the 21st Dando Boys Cup football tournament and played at St John the Baptist ground, Dando- Benaulim, on Tuesday.
Despite end to end football neither teams could break the deadlock and were locked 0-0 at the end of regulation time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Curtorim Gymkhana netted through Christo Hilario, Nelson Fernandes, Jowin Carneiro and Jayson Carneiro while Bersel Viegas, Raymond Fernandes and Hayson Dias netted for Sao Jose de Areal.
