Curtorim Gymkhana enter final

CALANGUTE: Curtorim Gymkhana trounced Mormugao United 4-1 to move into final of 5th all-Goa Reis-Magos Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament, organized by Verem Boys, Verem in collaboration with United Club of Nerul, at panchayat ground, Ambekhand, Verem, Tuesday. The teams were tied 1-1 at half time.

Curtorim forged ahead in the sixth minute through Nelson Fernandes. Mormugao fought back and drew level through Abhijit Chodankar off a Chetan Kangralkar free-kick.

Post resumption, Milagres Fernandes regained the lead for Curtorim in the 49th minute. Milagres scored another goal to give his team a comfortable 3-1 lead. Stefen Fernandes completed the tally for Curtorim in the dying minutes.

Curtorim Gymkhana will take on Guardian Angel Sports Club, Curchorem in the final on November 23.
