The Customs and Central Excise, Panjim defeated Sporting Clube Veterans 2-0 to enter the finals of 7th All-Goa Flame of Unity Veterans soccer organised by Flame of Unity Sports Club, Per-Seraulim, Colva. There was no score at half time.
The teams were fast in their approach while each of their keepers were outstanding under their respective bars. Roque Carneiro could have put Customs into the lead had it not been for Sporting keeper’s good save.
Changing ends, Customs shot into the lead when Domnic Cabral scored off a cross from Frankie. Ten minutes before the final hooter, Frankie Mascarenhas sealed victory after shooting on target off a defence splitting pass by Roque Carneiro.
