PANJIM: The Verna Industries Association in association with Goa-IDC, Department of Environment will organise a cyclothon for `Mission Life` on June 4, to commemorate World Environment Day and World Bicycle Day.
The entrance of Verna Industrial Estate has been given a facelift for the event and will be inaugurated by P Pravimal Abhishek at 8 am. It will be followed by a tree plantation programme

The cyclothon is being supported by cycling clubs Xaxti Riders, Propedalerz, SportifAmigos, Slopes & Bends, Panjim Cycling Club, Headquarters Goa Naval Area and Vasco Cycling Club.
Over 300 cyclists are expected to start off from Margao, Panjim, Ponda and Vasco. The youngest rider enrolled upto now is a 10-year-old, while the senior most is 80. The cyclists will leave from their locations at 6.15 am.
