Davorlim down Dramapur

Sporting Club of Davorlim defeated Dramapur Sports Club 8-7 via the sudden-death tie-breaker to enter the finals of 17th Super Cup football tournament organised by United Boys of Dando, Colva at St John the Baptist ground, Benaulim on Saturday.
Sporting Club dominated the opening session but could not score due to the counter attacks by Dramapur defenders.
Changing over, Dramapur put up a better show and took the fight into the rival camp but without any success.
With the scores remaining barren, the tie-breaker was implemented. However, the tie-breaker too failed to resolve the impasse and Sporting Club of Davorlim emerged winners in the sudden-death.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Rosebud Gomes, Bonnie Niasso, Agnelo, Romeo, Andrew, Ashley, Nazareth were on target for St Anthony while Edwin Dias, Domingos Rebello, Piedade Rebello, David, Rolly , Jeetendra Bhise and Seby converted for Dramapur.
The finals will be played on Sunday.
