Davorlim in finals

Striker Paxton Gomes fired in a brace as Sporting Club of Davorlim came from behind to defeat United Club of Tealulim 4-2 to enter the finals of GFA Third Division play-off at Curtorim ground, on Thursday.
Davorlim were trailing 0-1 at half time.
Telaulim were the first to settle down and struck rhythm creating many forays into the rival territory, which caught the Davorlim defence napping. They were rewarded in the 9th minute, when striker Alfred Menezes slotted past the rival keeper.
Unfazed about the lead, Davorlim did not take much time to equalise and their forwards were erratic after reaching the rival danger zone.
After resumption, Davorlim put up a better display as their midfielders and forwards worked in tandem to create panic in the rival defence.
Paxton Gomes neutralised the lead in the 48th minute. Spurred by the equaliser, Davorlim mounted pressure on the rival citadel with striker Paxton Gomes, who was a thorn in the rival defence, scored a brace in the 66th minute.
Agnelo Colaco increased their tally in the 75th minute. Two minutes later, Milton Afonso pulled one more back. Pelly Raikar rounded off the tally in the 85th minute.
