RAIA: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, outplayed Ave Maria A&WC, Benaulim, 5-1 in the final to emerge champions in the GFA South Goa U-13 Division II League match played at the Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Monday.
Don Bosco Oratory scored a brace through Ruben Pereira in the 28th and 46th minute, while Presly Faleiro netted in the 22nd and 70th minute and Johan Shellon Araujo in the 25th minute. For Ave Maria A&WC, Chandan Kharsel scored the lone goal in the 63rd minute.
Goa Football Association President Caetano Fernandes was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in presence of Vice-President Antonio Pango, Cosme Oliver, Constancio Rodrigues, Shubert Furtado and other dignitaries and GFA officials.
