CHINCHINIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda blanked Carmona SC 2-0 to move into the semi- final of the CRC Chinchinim Cup, at CRC Chinchinim ground, on Friday.
DBO had the upper hand throughout the match with striker Roque Borges tormented the rival defence on several occasions.
The best chance for Carmona fell to Alex Rodrigues in the 23rd minute who failed to convert off Anthony Braganza’s assist.
DBO coach Vincent Fernandes came out with a game changing plan which worked out well with Roque Borges scoring the first goal of the match off a penalty kick in the 37th minute.
Eleven minutes later, Velito Miranda’s shot deflected and brushed Carmona defender’s leg and sailed into Carmona nylons to make it 2-0 for DBO Fatorda.
