PANJIM: A fine treble from Yash Volvoikar helped Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim register a comprehensive 6-2 win over Goa Velha Sports Club in the Goa Football Association U-16 league match, at DBO ground, Panjim, on Saturday.
Don Bosco took the lead in the 11th minute through Joaquim Pereira but Meleniz Pereira scored the equalising goal in the 20th minute.
DBO Panjim scored two more goals just before the breather through Franio D’Mello and Yash.
Crossing over, Yash scored a quick fire brace to complete his hat-trick. Keedan Fernandes managed to reduce the deficit to 2-5.
But DBO Panjim’s Joaquim Pereira completed his brace just before the final whistle to take the final tally to 6-2.
