PANJIM: Dempo Sports Club conducted grassroots festival for the students of Sanjay School Porvorim, a school with special needs at DSC Academy ground, Ella, Old Goa.
About 120 kids participated in the festival.
The kids were divided into 10 teams and played different types of games such as line games, 5 v 5, triangle game, 4 goals game, 2 goals game and 6 goals game which lasted for about two hours.
Dempo SC Youth Development – Technical Director Karnagaran Naidoo welcomed all the participants to the festival. He emphasised that the event was in keeping with the Dempo tradition of serving the Goan society and community at large.
Naidoo reiterated that football is inclusive irrespective of one’s psychological and physical status.
