CHINCHINIM: Dramapur Boys blanked Sarzora Boys 2-0 to lift the Jumbo Chik Chik trophy, organised by Friends Circle Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope church ground, Chinchinim, recently.
Nigel netted the first goal of the match in the 10th minute. Four minutes later, Sanroy made it 2-0 for Dramapur. Kevin and Myron of Sarzoa missed chances to score in the 18th and 20th minutes. Sarzora keeper Sunny saved two powerful shots off Dramapur’s Nigel in the 38th and 40th minutes.

The winners collected Rs 20,000 while the runners-up had to settle for Rs 15,000 plus trophies.
Alexander Alemao of 1st Palvem was awarded youngest player of the tournament.
Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, MLA Curtorim, Fr Jose Antonio Costa, parish priest of Our Lady of Hope Church, Chinchinim, Simon Fernandes and other dignitaries.
