MARGAO: Expendables Margao thrashed Cool Guys Vasco 5-1, in final of the first All-Goa futsal tournament organised by Mangor Sports Club, Vasco, under the aegis of the Goa Futsal Association, at Manuel Godinho hall, Mangor, on Saturday.
In the semi-finals Cool Guys Vasco, defeated Holy Spirit boys 2–0 while Expendables, Margao thrashed Limon FC 4-1.
The chief guest, Lion Agnelo Alcasoas, former GFA secretary in his address, congratulated the teams for their splendid performance and mastery in futsal. The guest of honour, Wilson Godinho and Benjamin Silva, president of Goa Futsal Association were also present.
The winners and runners-up received a trophy and a cash award of Rs 40,000 and 20,000 respectively apart from other individual prizes. The president of the club Orson Rodrigues welcomed the gathering while Edwin Pereira proposed the vote of thanks.
