PANJIM: Fatorda Veterans defeated Vasco Veterans 2-0 and moved in the next round of the Goa Police Veterans football tournament at Police Headquarters, Panjim on Tuesday. Francis Andrade of Fatorda Veterans netted a brace.
Mareila Fernandes, GM for Chowgule motors was the chief guest who gave away the man-of-the-match trophy to Francis Andrade of Fatorda and a special prize to Derick Pereira as oldest player on the field, respectively. PI MT Hyder Karol was the guest of honour, who presented the momento to the Vasco team.
