FC Tuem hammer Sirsaim 4-0

MAPUSA: Football Club of Tuem hammered Sirsaim Sports and Welfare Centre 4-0 in the Bardez Zone GFA Third Division League played at Tivim ground.

MAPUSA: Football Club of Tuem hammered Sirsaim Sports and Welfare Centre 4-0 in the Bardez Zone GFA Third Division League played at Tivim ground. 
Tuem led 1-0 at the breather.
After a barren half hour, Lawrence broke the deadlock while Snehal, Marco and Tej pumped in three goals in the second session.
PVC hold Peddem Bomm
At Chapora ground, PVC Parra and Peddem Bomm Sports Club played a 1-1 draw. The teams were locked goalless in the first session.
Atish Mirajkar scored for PVC while Rohan Ratwal scored for Peddem Bomm.
Meanwhile, there was discontent from the organizers, team officials and players as they missed the I-League action at Duler Stadium, Mapusa. 
They reasoned that as the I-League fixtures were planned well in advance then the GFA should have arranged the Third Division ties accordingly.
Saligao, Nerul draw 
CALANGUTE: United Club of Nerul and Saligao United played out a 2-2 draw in GFA Third Division League match at Dr. Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim, Saturday.
Nerul forged ahead in the 17th minute through Yeshwant More off Darshan Madkaikar’s pass. Down by a goal, Saligao fought back and almost equalized but rival keeper Santosh brought off a superb save blocking a try from Earl Sequeira.   
Changing over, Nerul kept the momentum going and doubled the lead in the 50th minute through Rahul Pillai off a Darshan Madkaikar’s move. Saligao were awarded a penalty in the 58th minute after defender handled the ball in the danger zone.  
The resultant kick was converted by Jose Alvares to make it 1-2.  
Clyde Vales managed to draw level in the 93rd minute after keeper failed to hold on to the ball. Following the draw, the teams earned their first point in the league.
