MAPUSA/RAIA: Benny XI, Mapusa, managed to edge past BAFF 2-1 in the Goa Football Association Division II League Bardez Zone match played at Duler Stadium, here, on Sunday.
It was BAFF that stunned their opponent with Sandesh Kaulekar guiding the ball into the goal off a cross by Dylan Gomes in the 43rd minute of play, 1-0.

On crossing over, in the 51st minute Benny XI were awarded a penalty where Salu Santos made no mistake to level terms, 1-1.
When it looked the match was heading for a draw, Benny XI skipper Floyd Pereira receiving a through pass from Omkar Narvekar beat the onrushing BAFF substitute goalkeeper Gauresh Popkar to make it 2-1.

Salgaocar FC trounced Goa Police 5-0 in the U-15 Division I League match played at Sinquetim ground, Navelim, on Sunday.
Andreas Glorio Furtado scored a hat-trick, while Royden Carvalho and Reuben Barbosa scored a goal each for Salgaocar FC.
At Nagoa panchayat ground, Pax of Nagoa SC moved past Calangute Association 3-1. Terrance Fernandes scored a brace, while Sairaj Gaonkar was the other scorer for Pax of Nagoa.
The only goal for the Calangute Association was scored by Joshua Fernandes.
