In the Vasco –Salgaocar GPL match played on Saturday at Duler Stadium, fourth official Caitan Pereira kept the substitution waiting. Salgaocar Manager Sanjiv Nagvenkar went to substitute his player Denil Rebello replacing Josbon Fernandes but was surprised to notice that fourth official Caitan had forgotten to carry with him the substitution board.
After couple of minutes wasted the Ref Talk Communication System came to the official rescue as he drew the attention of referee Sharad Naik and the substitution was done.
Later the substitution board was brought from the referee’s changing room.
