MARGAO: Friends Circle, Fatorda downed BMC, Dramapur Sports Club 1-0 to cruise into the final of Our Lady of Fatima football tournament organized by Fatima Sports Club, Baida -Chinchinim, at Baida ground, Chinchinim, Wednesday. There was no score at half time.
The lone goal came in the 50th minute when Danny Dias’ stiff grounder beat the rival goal with a snap shot. Stung by the reverse, BMC went all-out in search of the equalizer but the rival defender stood tall in protecting their slender lead.
Friends Circle will now meet Ambaulim Boys in the final on May 13.
