FC Barcelona camp in Vasco
PANJIM: FC Barcelona in association with Conscient Football will hold its maiden camp for U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-17 from April 24 to 28 at Tilak Stadium, Vasco, which will be conducted by Jordi Arasa, technical director, FCBEscola, Delhi NCR.

The 5-day camp will consist of 15 hours of intensive training which will give each participant an introduction to the famous “Barça Way” of life. Scientifically developed, the training program is meant for children in the age groups of 6 to17. Apart from providing training in football, they will be taught the values like tolerance, respect, solidarity, friendship, community spirit and integration. Be it ball possession or stop and pass, the FC Barcelona methodology is all about getting under the skin to create footballers of tomorrow.
Those interested may register for the FC Barcelona camp by April 20. Registration forms are available at Champs (Panjim and Margao).
Tie-breaker at Velim
MARGAO: The 5th all-Goa tie-breaker tournament organized by Junction Boys, Velim will be held on April 21 at Velim church ground, at 10 a.m.
The winners will get Rs 8,888 while the runners-up will take home Rs 5,555. Sport entries will be accepted.
Tennis ball cricket at Betul
MARGAO: The All-Goa 11-a-side tennis ball cricket tournament organized by Shri Sthalapurush Sports and Cultural Club Khairat, Betul will be held on April 20 and 21 at Betul.
Rs 12,000 and Rs 8,000 will be awarded to the winners and runners-up respectively. Individual prizes will also be given.
