In the first match, Goa went down fighting to West Bengal 14-20 but bounced back against Andhra Pradesh 15-6 in the second match.
In the third match, Goa demolished Pudducherry 18-9.
Neetal Haldankar (GA), Vaibhavi Rane (GK) and Anisha Naik (Centre) played well in the league matches for Goa.
In the boy’s category, Goa lost to Delhi in opening match of the league stage. The teams are coached by Sandeep Shetkar.
