Vasco: Goa secured third place at the National Yoga Championship, organsied by the National Yogasana Federation, at Bhubaneshwar. Goa won one silver and two bronze medals.
From 14 members, two have been selected for Khelo India.

Kamlesh Bandekar, General Secretary of Yogasana Sports Association of Goa stated that for the first time in such competition Goa has won a silverand two bronze medals. This is a great achievement. The credit should go to all these players. I expect all Goans to applaud this achievement.
Despite facing a tough contest throughout, a young girl participant said that she enjoyed the national exposure and stated that they will give their best in the future to win more medals including a gold too.
