PANJIM: Goa University lost to SGB Amravati University 4-5 via the tie-breaker in the qualifying match of the West Zone Inter-University Championship for Men, organised by Barkatullah University, Bhopal, on Thursday.
Goa University dominated play but could not score during the regulation time. In the tie-breaker, Amravati University proved to be the better shooters.
SGB Amravati University, LNUPE Gwalior, Shivaji University Kolhapur and host Barkatullah Univeristy, Bhopal qualified for All India Inter Zonal Championship.
