Goa won a double crown in men and women sections respectively in 25th Silver Jubilee Senior National Baseball Championship in Indore, MP on Saturday.
In the men’s finals, Goa overcame Delhi 7-6 homes. Captain Kailash Gaonkar, Krupesh Palkar, Siddesh Naik, Prassad Pai Kumar,Vijay Mayekar and Prajyot Panjikar played a stellar role for Goa.
In the women’s finals, Goa defeated Manipur 6-2 homes. Savita Gaonkar, Dipti Gaude, Anuja Mudhalkar, Nitisha Kalangutkar and Neha Bhomkar produced excellent performance for Goa.
