Well, all things are set as the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup returns in February 2026, with India and Sri Lanka jointly hosting the mega event. The tournament will feature 20 teams, world-class venues and high-voltage clashes, including an early showdown between India and Pakistan on 15 February. ICC Chair Jay Shah has announced that a former India captain and cricket legend has been appointed the official brand ambassador, adding to the excitement ahead of the global event.
The group-wise schedule has been released, with fixtures spread across top stadiums in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Colombo and Kandy. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Eight, followed by the semifinals and the grand finale. Teams taking part include India, Australia, England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies and others.
