Rabri Devi asked to vacate 10 Circular Road after 20 years

After almost twenty years at 10 Circular Road, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi was directed to move to a new government residence. The order followed a restructuring of house allotments after the Cabinet expansion under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Building Construction Department has provided Rabri Devi with Central Pool House No. 39 on Harding Road, aligned with her present designation as Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council.

The long-time address has been a politically significant base for the Lalu Prasad family, where key decisions and high-profile visits took place. With the updated entitlement norms, the earlier bungalow must now be surrendered, and the family will relocate once arrangements are completed. Officials noted that similar reassignments are underway for newly sworn-in ministers.
