India-Australia ODI preparations begin

MARGAO, JULY 27 The preparations for the India-Australia ODI to be hosted by Goa Cricket Association on October 24 at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda began in full swing as the pooja was held before marking the outline of the pitch.

The preparations for the India-Australia  ODI to be hosted by Goa Cricket Association  on October 24 at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda began in full swing as the pooja was held before marking the outline of the pitch.
The grass is being trimmed and the soil to prepare the pitch is being sought from Indore.
GCA chairman of ground committee, Suryakant Naik said that the BCCI would be deploying a curator from Madhya Pradesh to help out the local association in preparing the pitch.
When asked about his view on the pitch, Naik said it is early  to comment but promised to make it a high scoring one since it is a prestigious one-day international match.
