ALDONA: Kelbai SC, Mayem defeated Sirsaim Sports and WC 2-1, in the GFA 3rd Division, group D match, at Quitula ground, Aldona, on Wednesday.
Kelbai SC should have scored at least 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of the match but their forwards missed open sitters.
Kelbai SC opened the scoring in the 38th minute through Chaitan Pilankar and later went on to double their lead through Saeesh Satardekar in the 40th minute.
Sirsaim scored in the 43rd minute through Floyd Fernandes. Sirsaim S & WC tried to come back into the match however their strikers couldn’t convert to end it all square.
